The PTO disburses some of the money it raises in the form of grants paid to the Trails West Elementary teachers and administration. Grants can be used to pay for specific items needed for classroom and extra-curricula activities, student or faculty training programs, elective course support, and capital improvements.
The entire PTO community will have the opportunity to vote on the grant applications submitted for the 2017-18 school year at the special grant approval meeting on Tuesday, November 28, at 6 pm.
